What in the heck are Whiskey Stones?!
It dawned on me the other day that we carry whiskey stones in some of our gift baskets but some people have no clue what they are. This came very apparent at our booth at the Thousand Oaks Chilli Cook Off last weekend when just about everyone that took a close look at our Executive BroBasket saw those little stones clinking around the tumbler glasses and inquisitively asked "What in the heck are those?!".
So why not try to teach the fine folks that frequent our website as to what they are so you can be better informed consumers.
To keep it short and sweet, whiskey stones keep your whiskey, scotch, rum, tequila, gin, vodka, etc... cool without watering down your spirit. Why wouldn't you want to water down your drink you ask? Well if you are enjoying a glass of Lagavulin 16 year single malt scotch then you are gonna want to be able to taste every damn bit of it and most spirits are best enjoyed at cooler than room temperature.
And now after all that you might be saying, "But do they actually work?". I'd like to think so as a user of them, but why take my word for it when you can watch a YouTube video instead :-)
You're Welcome,
