The Ultimate Martini Gift Basket
The Classic Martini Gift Basket
At the end of a long work day, there’s nothing we like more than heading home and mixing up a great cocktail. And there’s no cocktail in the world that’ll make you feel more like a sophisticated gent than the classic martini. The Classic Martini BroBasket is designed to help you channel your inner gentleman. Packed in a cool reusable black tin, it features a bottle of Bombay Sapphire Extra Dry gin and a bottle of dry vermouth—the keys to making an awesome martini.
Because Real Men Drink Martinis
You don’t have to live a James Bond lifestyle to enjoy a martini shaken not stirred—you just have to have good taste. But because we always like to do things a little bit differently, we’ve included some unexpected ingredients to take your classic martini to the next level. To make this sophisticated drink a bit more interesting, we’ve switched out the traditional olives for a jar of Tomolives, included a bag of popcorn so he’s got something to snack on, and tossed in some Ferrero Rocher chocolates to satisfy his sweet tooth. There are lots of martini gift basket ideas out there, but do any of them include chocolates, snacks, and pickled green tomatoes? We think not.
The Martini Gift Set He’ll Tell His Friends About
Want to be the one to give him the most awesome gift ever? This BroBasket is the gift that he’ll be happy to open, thrilled to drink, and excited to tell his buddies about. It’s got style. It’s got class. And it’s got the thing he loves most in the world—booze. Send him one of these for his birthday and if you’re lucky, maybe on your birthday, you’ll get one in return.
Making the Perfect Martini
Ingredients
-
2 ½ oz Gin (or Vodka, if you prefer)
-
½ oz Dry Vermouth
-
Ice
-
Lemon twist or olive, for garnish
Instructions
-
Chill Your Glass:
Place your martini glass in the freezer or fill it with ice water while you mix. -
Combine & Stir:
In a mixing glass filled with ice, pour in the gin (or vodka) and dry vermouth. Stir well for 20–30 seconds to properly chill and dilute.Prefer it shaken? Go for it—Bond won’t judge. Just know that stirring preserves clarity and texture.
-
Strain:
Empty your chilled glass and strain the mixture into it. -
Garnish:
Add a lemon twist for brightness or an olive for that savory edge.
🔧 Variations & Tips
-
Dirty Martini: Add ½ oz olive brine.
-
Extra Dry: Use just a rinse of vermouth or none at all.
-
50/50: Equal parts gin and vermouth for a softer sip.
-
Gibson: Garnish with a cocktail onion instead of an olive.
