Snacks are glued together

What a mess. My co-workers got me this basket for my birthday. Everything in the baskets is glued together with hot glue. Why?? I can’t separate the snack bags without ripping them. Terrible packaging. Hot glue! Really? You’re taking this “bro” thing too far.
