This Jerky Hits High on the Scoville Scale

The hottest and spiciest jerky flavors in this gift set come from Smokey Mountain. Their Carolina Reaper jerky is made with the Carolina Reaper pepper—a pepper so hot it’s the highest one the Scoville heat Scale, falling just below pepper spray (we’re not kidding). It holds the Guinness World Record for being the hottest chili pepper in the world, and some say it feels like “eating molten lava”. We agree. In terms of heat, the Scorpion Pepper jerky isn’t that far behind—the Scorpion Pepper was the hottest pepper in the world until the Carolina Reaper took over. So needless to say, these two Smokey Mountain flavors require a strong stomach.

 

Spicy Beef Jerky Fans Will Love It

A little less intense, but still super spicy, the Carnivore Candy Volcanic Jalapeno jerky packs a serious punch. Not worth the money

Shipping was half the cost of the reaper box and didn’t show up until after I checked out. I had wrongfully assumed it was free. My nephew loves hot and spicy foods but for the price I wish I would’ve just given him cash. Wouldn’t recommend

Happy and disappointed

My husband was pretty excited about the box, except he didn't get the scorpion jerky and got mango habanero in it's place. But other than that slight mix-up he will enjoy every bit of the meats.
